PERPLEXING TREND | PERSPEX BAGS

The perspex bag trend can be linked back to earlier this year. At London Fashion Week, Burberry and Simone Rocha were seen championing the trend. There have been so many designer variations of perspex, notably, and maybe dangerously, on bags. My favourites are the Chanel versions but here are 3 high street alternatives if the trend catches your fancy.

WHAT TO WEAR | HALLOWEEN NIGHT OUT

This photo is of me last year, celebrating Halloween before it rained and I got soaked. I remember going home at 11:30 and someone went into a puddle in their car to soak me. And it worked! I was standing naked over my heater with my scary make-up on for about 5 minutes. My boyfriend was amused!

I'm in love with my new iPhone case! I've had my phone for a few months but I was unsure what case to get with it. I saw Tori from Aztec Mess and Lily Pebbles had a case from Casetagram so I thought I'd check the website out.

FAVOURITES | PERFUME

One thing you should know about me is that I love perfume! I usually change them every year, and I never wear the same one all the time because I find that boring - you have to have a perfume for each occasion! With these 3 I think I'm pretty sorted!

MY WEEK #2

So I didn't get up to much this week - I was trying not to spend much money so that meant staying indoors with lots of TV and food!

ARM CANDY | WRIST ADDITION

The title of this post is a little misleading; this isn't about having a cute man on your arm, although it doesn't hurt to have one! I'm talking about the forgotten area of accessories - the wrist. I always wear necklaces and rings but I always seem to leave my wrist bare. So I thought I'd showcase the typical items I wear in the hope I'll begin to buy more arm candy.

(Also, referring to a man as arm candy is a little cheesy - I hope you know I don't refer to men as accessories!) 

LOVING LEATHER

It's hard to miss one of the major trends at the moment - leather, or pleather as it's also known. It used to be a daring outfit choice but now there's so many variations available so it's much easier to pull off! I own a pair of leather look leggings that I like to bust out now and then from Miss Selfridge but my wardrobe is definitely missing these two pieces.

I'm starting a new regular feature on my blog where I'm going to talk about my week through Instagram photos. Some of my favourite bloggers do this so I thought I'd give it a go, although sometimes I have very boring days where I'm just at work.

WANT OF THE WEEK | REAL TECHNIQUES

I've heard so many good things about Real Techniques brushes. As I said yesterday, I've been going through a bit of a make-up binge at the moment. The starter kit and core collection are apparently amazing for your eyes and face. I bought an Ecotools brush so I'll stick to that before I can afford the £20.99 each for these sets. I did a bit of shopping...yet again! This time it's for beauty buys. Recently, I've been following so many beauty blogs and looking at reviews for lots of products. I needed a make-up update!

LIFE POST #5

I went to see Fleetwood Mac a couple of weeks ago. My favourite song is Dreams, and I've loved the band for so long! It was amazing to see them and Christine McVie even performed with them for the first time in years.

I posted about a winter coat I bought a few weeks ago but I haven't got much wear out of it. The weather is still so lovely!
