HAUL | BOOTS

I did a bit of shopping...yet again! This time it's for beauty buys. Recently, I've been following so many beauty blogs and looking at reviews for lots of products. I needed a make-up update!

I was looking for a concealer or even a primer, I heard a lot about BB creams but I've never really looked into buying one. I think I was sold on the 9-in-1 quality of Rimmel BB cream because of the versatility of it. I'm clearly easily sold haha! It claims to prime, moisturise, minimise pores, conceal, cover, smoothe, mattify, brighten and protect. I have scarring and lots of bumps on my face so this sounds perfect. We'll see how I get on!

Next up was a bronzer - I used to wear bronzer many years ago but I never found the right shade. And I've literally only just realised I bought the Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzing Powder in Brunette instead of Blonde. Uh oh. I'll try using it but I'll stick to the lighter shade and apply it very thinly. Silly me!

I've read lots of good reviews for Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks in Peach Melba, and for £1.99 you can't really go wrong! I currently use a cream blusher so it will be interesting to see the difference with a powder blusher, as I haven't used one in years.

The other two products are just cosmetic sponges and Ecotools Bamboo Foundation Brush. I've been looking for brushes for ages because I usually use my hands to apply foundation. I'm yet to buy the Real Techniques brushes and this one looked and felt quite nice. It has 4 stars on makeupalley.com so I'll be excited to apply my foundation with it.

much love,
Cally

  4. I have the BB cream and love it :) Much better than full-on foundation for me! Although it has a primer in it I like to use it with the Rimmel Primer too - gives it a really good finish! xxx

    1. I'm really loving it at the moment! I thought it was a bit dark at first but I'm getting used to rubbing it in enough. I never use a primer but I might check the Rimmel one out :) xx
