HAUL | 3 FOR 2 AT BOOTS

I cannot resist Boots' 3 for 2 offer. I've bought quite a few bits and bobs lately but I think I've had enough for now (or rather my bank account can't afford any more luxury purchases). On my last shop I picked up these goodies!


Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm in The Redder the Better - £5.99

I see adverts for Rimmel products on Made in Chelsea every Monday, and I always like the look of their make-up. I know Revlon are releasing a similar lip cosmetic soon so I wanted to try this one to see if I like the feel of it.
I wanted the redder colour so that I could work with it and make it as bright or dark as I wanted. I veer away from red lips but it's a statement look, just like smokey eyes, although you should never go with a smokey eye AND red lips. It would be massive overkill!

Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadow in And on Bronze - £4.99

If you read my blog then you'll know I prefer cream blusher to powder. I've never actually tried a cream eyeshadow but I've been drawn to this Maybelline range after reading posts about it. The bronze colour appealed to me for an everyday look but the other colours are: Eternal Gold, Pink Gold, 25K Gold, Timeless Black, Light in Purple, Persistently Pink, Metallic Pomegranate and Everlasting Navy. I want to pick up a couple of others when I next visit Boots.
This product claims to be long-lasting. I wore it to work today - I applied it at 6:30am and it's still on (I'm writing this at 5pm).

Bourjois Paris 1 Seconde Nail Polish in Dangerous Wish - £5.99

I was looking for another polish when I spotted this one. I was drawn to the colour because of how sparkly it is. I've got lots of Christmas parties coming up and I thought this would look quite festive. I was a little disappointed though; the polish says you need 1 coat and there will be no smudges. I had smudges and it definitely needed more than one coat to look decent! I'll do a NOTD soon so you can see for yourself.
