What better way to begin February than with a January favourites post. I want to try and stick to doing these every month to show you what I've been loving. I've picked 5 products I've been using this month that I couldn't live without.
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Moisturising Shampoo
I wrote a post about how much I love this product, which you can find here, and I'm still very much in love with it. It smells divine, makes my hair silky soft and emphasises the highlights in my hair. It's £5.99 so it's not the most expensive shampoo. I follow it up with conditioner and hairspray so that I get the full effect.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
I invested in this foundation a few weeks ago and I'm surprised that I already love it this much. It provides excellent coverage, especially when applied with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. I wrote about it here. I hate glittery foundations like the Rimmel Wake Me Up as it can really wash you out when taking photos with the flash on but this one is amazing at making the skin appear flawless.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I have a review planned for this palette so I won't say too much except that it's simply amazing. There are 12 different shades, both day and nighttime appropriate, so you won't need a lot of other eye shadows with this around. Rose golds are a prominent theme in this palette, as well as some smokier colours.
Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze
If you're like me and don't like putting too much effort into your eyes for a daytime look then I'd definitely recommend the Color Tattoo range. It's a cream eye shadow so it rubs on effortlessly when using your finger. It's long lasting and you can achieve a somewhat smoky eye look just from a tiny amount of product. There are lots of other shades so check those out too!
L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection BB 5 in 1 Instant Blemish Balm
My mum bought me this for my birthday as she spotted it around and thought I might like it. She knows I like good coverage because of my acne scars so wanted me to try this. I've tried this a couple of times by mixing it with a hint of foundation and it does indeed give me AMAZING coverage. I can't spot any of my blemishes when I wear it so I know it's a great product.
What products were you loving in January? Let me know in the comments!
love, Cally
I've kept meaning to try the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation for ages but still haven't got around to it! xx
