RIVER ISLAND SUMMER PRINTS

Hello there! It's been a month since I last posted on here. I'm a bit of a failure at blogging, aren't I? Currently experiencing a lack of inspiration...so I want to strip my blog back to basics and focus on the things I enjoy talking about. 

I've never been a huge fan of River Island, until fairly recently. Their summer clothes are beauuuutiful and so on trend, especially the prints. I've picked up a few tops recently and I know I'll get lots of wear out of them for summer. 

Crop tops are back in fashion once again. Well, to be honest, they never really leave unless it's winter then you don't want to be sporting a crop top, for fear of your kidneys catching a cold. At least that's what my mum always told me!

Another thing that's really fashionable about this top is the neckline - I've seen a billion tops with this high neck. I love the way it shows off the shoulders, rather than the boobs. The tribal print is also gorgeous! I really like all the colours in it, from the greens to the blues to the oranges.

'Ark at this bright orange top! I think this might be the only orange thing I own. This also has the high neck like the previous top, which is something I'm loving at the moment. I like that the white floral pattern contrasts with the orange to make it less fluorescent. I think people would spot me a mile off in this top - useful at nighttime if I'm crossing roads (bad joke haha).

I don't really own many yellow clothes either but I love the print on this. At first I thought it was bananas but it's actually paint strokes. The yellow mixed with the black sets this off. It's also a crop top but it's more of a boxy crop so it's a lot longer than the first tribal top.

I'm convinced I want to wear this with my leather look trousers on a night out! I think it would look pretty cute but I'll probably end up wearing it with my high waisted shorts for a summer look.
