BEAUTY HAUL & REVIEW | THE BODY SHOP AND ZOELLA BEAUTY

Sunday, 26 October 2014

I haven't really bought any new beauty bits in a while but I had some euros left over from my holiday. As soon as I had them transferred back into pounds I hit the shops, namely The Body Shop and Superdrug.

The Smoky Rose perfume is a favourite of mine; I really like the fragrances in The Body Shop and I've used up my old bottle so this is a repurchase. The only downside is that I bought the Eau De Toilette instead of the parfum, which is more long lasting. However, the fragrance is still gorgeous, as I love musky, floral scents.

I like fruity scents as well so I was instantly drawn to the Raspberry Body Butter. My skin is peeling after spending so long in the sun so I was on the lookout for something to sort out my dry skin. I'm always hearing about how great the body butters at The Body Shop are but this is my first one! It's not cheap at £13 but you get a lot for what you pay for. I've used this a few times now and it's brilliant! It makes my skin feel soft and smell nice. The smell lasts for quite some time too - a quality I look for in body moisturisers.

I also heard a lot about the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil through other bloggers so I was eager to try it. It smells amazing (everything in his haul does) and is gentle on my sensitive skin. I've only used it a couple of times, but I'm still a little undecided about it. Yeah, it makes my skin feel soft but it's also quite oily on my already greasy skin. I guess that's probably my fault for purchasing an oil instead of a plain cleanser. I'm going to keep using this but I think I might stick to my Soap & Glory cleanser as my staple.

Last but not least is the Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar. I love Zoe's blog and her YouTube channel so when I heard she was releasing her own beauty range I went on the hunt for her products. They all have their own signature floral scent - it's fresh but girly - and I'm a huge fan. I only picked up the fizz bar but I'm sure I'll buy a couple more things next month. I've used the bar once, and whilst its obviously not on par with my favourite Lush products, it's a lovely addition to bathtime.

Have you picked up any new products lately? What products have you been loving?
